Residents Get Chance To Hunt Without License
Hunters across Tennessee got the chance to hunt without a license Saturday. Every year, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency gives residents one free day to hunt without a license and WMA permit. It is always on the first day of squirrel season, which lasts through February 29. The TWRA said the purpose of the free day is to increase interest in hunting.
