Winner Named In Battle Of The Bands
After several competitions in July, finalists in the Battle of the Bands duked it out for a chance to perform at this year’s Tennessee River Run. The winning band was the Ben Mathison Sidekicks. For winning, the band gets six hours of studio time at Jaxon Records, a CD and the chance to be the opening act for Montgomery Gentry and Worley at the Tennessee River Run in Savannah on September 17. Entree fees for Saturday’s competition went toward the Darryl Worley Foundation, which helps several organizations and people in need.
