Coach Arrested for Marijuana Possession

A Jackson-Madison County middle school coach has been arrested after deputies said he admitted to bringing marijuana to school, Wednesday. Terry Hill, 49, is charge with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on school property. Investigators said narcotics officers were called to West Middle School, Wednesday morning after someone smelled marijuana in the gym. Deputies said the drug dog alerted on Hill’s office and vehicle. They also said he admitted that the two grams of marijuana found near an outbuilding was his. Hill has been at West Middle School for five years. He spent the previous 21 years at North Side High School. According to the district, Hill is currently suspended without pay.
