Weakly County SD Investigating Apparent Murder/Suicide

The Weakley County Sheriff’s Department reports they are investigating an apparent murder/suicide. According to a news release, deputies responded to a call at 755 Woods Road, Sunday afternoon. Devnee Renee Reeder, 42, and Matt David Bennett, 35, were found deceased at the scene. Both suffered gunshot wounds. Investigators believe that a domestic dispute occurred between Reeder and Bennett, who both lived at that residence. Bennett is believed to have shot Reeder before turning the gun on himself. Both bodies were sent to the Memphis for autopsy.
