Grand Jury Indicts Rogers for Stabbing Boyfriend
The Jackson woman arrested for the near fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, has been indicted by a Madison County grand jury. Denisha Rogers is charged with attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault in the June stabbing along Bishop Place. Investigators found the victim and father of her three children bleeding on the floor of the couple’s home with multiple stab wounds to his chest and back. Rogers remains jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond. She returns to court next Monday for her arraignment hearing.
