Maxwell Indicted in Lincoln Courts Shooting

A Jackson man is facing charges of shooting another man following his indictment by members of the Madison County grand jury on charges he shot a man in east Jackson. Ladarius Maxwell. 18, was indicted on two counts of attempted first degree and two counts of aggravated assault. Investigators said the shooting that critically injured the victim on March 3, is not the first time Maxwell had taken aim at the victim. They also believe he fired at the same man on March 3, but missed. Investigators believe the shots were fired from a passing car. Maxwell is being held in a $150,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned next Monday.
