Police Doubt DUI Excuse
Police in Nashville aren’t buying a story about why a man was in the woods after crashing his car on an Interstate 40 ramp.
After witnesses told police a car had run off the ramp and crashed, about a dozen officers hunted for the driver, who left the wrecked car early Wednesday. When they found him, he said that’s what he was doing – hunting, according to WSMV-TV
Investigators bagged some alcohol in the car and checked the driver into jail on charges of DUI and evading arrest.
No one was hurt.
