Christian Music Fest Faces Money Woes

The future of a long-running Christian music festival in eastern Kentucky is in question.

Organizers of Ichthus Festival were expected to make a decision Tuesday on whether the event will continue to be held.

Financial problems have caused the Ichthus festival board to try to sell its property in Wilmore.

Ichthus board member Mike Vermillion told WLEX-TV that organizers need others to step forward to help with the festival if is to continue

A group of student and an Asbury Seminary professor started the festival in 1970.
