Women Jailed after Reported Fight in Medina

A mother and daughter from Medina are in jail after each is accused of fighting with another man, using everything from knuckles to a knife, even a sandwich. Chelsea Vanalstine, 19, is accused of first throwing a sandwich at her step-father, then punching him in the face. She is charged with simple assault. However, her mother, Connie Sanders, 39, faces three more serious counts of domestic aggravated assault, after investigators said around the same time, Monday she used a kitchen knife, a loaded handgun and a baseball bat to threaten her brother-in-law. While both remain jailed, their bonds have not been set.
