Haywood County Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet & 50th Anniversary Celebration
The Haywood County Branch of the NAACP will host its Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, October 1, 2011. This year we will celebrate our 50th Anniversary of the Haywood County Branch of the NAACP. From 5:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., a reception will be held honoring local civil rights leaders followed by the Freedom Fund Banquet at 6 p.m. Dr. Cozette Rogers Garrett, a native of Brownsville & the Welcoming Systems Coordinator of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, TN will bring the keynote address.
