Marshals Service Arrest Fugitive
In a little less than three weeks, U.S. Marshals have arrested a dangerous Illinois fugitive with ties to West Tennessee. However, a second, unrelated suspect remains on the loose. Marcus Llloyd, Junior, 20, who has family in both Brownsville and Jackson, surrendered to Chicago police, Monday. Llloyd is believed to be connected to a shooting in July in which two people were hurt. Meanwhile. Marshals continue their search for Joseph Levar Emery, 32, who is wanted in an unrelated shooting in Champaign, Illinois. Emery has family in Humboldt and Jackson. He is 5 feet 8 and weighs 190 pounds. If you have seen Emery, call Jackson Crime Stoppers at (731) 424-8477 or the U.S. Marshals Service at (731) 427-4661.
