Jackson Man Arrested, Faces Assault Charges
A Jackson man is in jail, facing several assault charges for two separate incidents Friday night. According to police, Matthew Berlin, 21, pointed a shot gun and made threats toward another person at a house on Morgan Street at around 10 Friday night. Then, investigators said an hour later, Berlin went back to the same house and made more threats with the gun toward six other people. Berlin faces one count of aggravated assault, and six counts of aggravated domestic assault. He is being held in the Madison County jail on $20,000 bond, and will appear in Jackson city court Monday morning.
