Shooting on Glass Street
Jackson police were called to another shooting less than two hours after a young man was gunned down near Hays and Lexington Streets. Just after 9:00 p.m. a call for help came from the 100 block of Glass Street, which is near Whitehall and Lane, where police say a 21-year-old man had been shot once in the back. At last check, late Tuesday night, his condition was described as “serious.” Early in the investigation, police said they did not have a suspect description and did not believe this shooting was connected to the one just two hours before.
