Facebook Status Leads To Fight
A southern Kentucky man’s Facebook relationship status is likely much more complicated.
Bowling Green police say 21-year-old Tristan Neal assaulted his girlfriend Tuesday after the pair fought over his refusal to change his Facebook status from “single” to “in a relationship.”
Neal’s girlfriend, who was not identified in police reports, called officers to the Greenview Regional Hospital, where she was being treated for injuries, The Bowling Green Daily News reported
The woman accused Neal of hitting and pointing a gun at her. Neal denied the accusations. Police say he couldn’t explain the marks on the woman’s face and arms.
Neal is scheduled to be in Warren District Court on Oct. 5.
