Jackson Police Officer Loses Battle With Cancer
The Jackson Police Department has lost on of it officers to cancer. Officer Michael Brockmeyer passed away late Friday night. He battled a rare form of leukemia since last spring. He served with the Jackson Police Department for ten years and worked in the Uniform Patrol Division. His funeral will be held on Tuesday October 11 at 2 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church.
