The Jackson Madison County School Board answered the question of whether they are ready to begin a new search for superintendent, during the work session Tuesday evening. The voted to put the issue on the agenda for Thursday night’s meeting. Their first attempt in June ended unsuccessfully. The contract with selection firm BWP & Associates allows a second search at no additional cost. “The search firm, which has done hundreds of searches throughout the country, has told us now is the perfect time,” said Board Chairman David Clifft. Also Thursday, board members will decide whether to increase the salary for Interim Superintendent Buddy White.
