Apria Healthcare Adding New Jobs

One of the largest private employers in Jackson is now getting even larger. Apria Healthcare has announced a job and facility expansion at its Customer Care Center in South Jackson. The company plans to add about 50 new jobs before year-end with hires in both its customer service and collection departments. Directors say while they’re looking for new employees with experience in customer care, they’re also hiring those interested in learning new job skills in healthcare. “We’ve been very fortunate to hire many employees that have been displaced due to the economy from their previous employers,” said Jill Pusser, Director of Customer Service. “We’ve been able to teach them new skills and give them a new opportunity in the community.”
