Madison Co. Deputies Arrest Burglary Suspect

An early Friday morning call about a burglary in progress in Denmark, landed David Michael Messer, 21, of Milan in the Madison County Jail. Deputies say they received the call around 2:15 a.m. Messer was taken into custody a short time later. According to the Madison Co. Sheriff’s Department, Messer was charged with aggravated burglary, theft under $500, criminal trespassing and public intoxication. He is scheduled to be formally arraigned on the charges Monday, October 17, at 8:30 a.m. in General Sessions Court.
