House Catches Fire on Colorado Street
A south Jackson family is dealing with the damage from a fire at their south Jackson home, Monday morning. Jackson firemen were called to a fire on Colorado Street around 8 and found a fire shooting flames and black smoke from the structure. Five trucks answered the call and knocked down the blaze in just a few minutes. The house suffered heavy damage in the back and the front suffered smoke and water damage. A house next door also suffered melted siding damage from the heat. No cause of the fire has been determined. There were no injuries.
