Nashville Man Crushed By Car
Metro Nashville Police say a man working on a pickup truck died when the vehicle rolled off portable ramps and crushed him.
No foul play is suspected in the death of 39-year-old Virgil Kempenaar. Investigators said Kempenaar was under the truck, installing a new starter and it’s possible the vehicle rolled because of force he was exerting in tightening the part.
Kempenaar lived alone. He was found Monday when he didn’t come to work and a co-worker went to check on him. Police believe the accident occurred on Sunday.
