Police: Man Robbed Convenience Store, Money Found in Underwear

Police said a Milan man is charged after being accused of robbing a store clerk at gunpoint. Milan police said John Palmer, 41, is charged with theft and aggravated robbery of the Milan Mart #2, located on Manner Frank Road, Monday afternoon. The clerk told police that after the store was robbed, Palmer left the store on a bicycle. Police were able to identify him from store surveillance video and then went to his home where they say they found him, a B.B. gun and $630 stuffed inside his underwear. Palmer is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday.
