A Humboldt man spent the weekend in jail after a Medina police officer said he almost ran over him because he was driving drunk. Kayland Parchman, 20, faces charges including underage DUI and reckless endangerment. Officers said Parchman sped through a road block for a previous wreck, ignoring a policeman’s yells and was unphased by a flashlight thrown at his windshield, causing it to crack. He was pulled over a short time later and taken into custody. Parchman is currently free on $3,500 bond.
