Two sisters are on the loose after allegedly stealing from an elderly man who was trying to help them. Coy Johnson said he had taken in one of the women to try and help her get off drugs. When she seemed to be doing better, he said he let her borrow his car and even stayed at her house and let her cook him dinner. He said he later discovered that while he was in her home, .the woman and her sister had been coming into his house and allegedly stealing things. He claimed there were also many valuable things taken out of his vehicle. “I opened up the trunk and there’s some of my money wrappers in there…none of my money. And I had a .12 gauge sem-automatic shotgun I’ve had since about 60-something years ago.” Both women, Candice and Tabitha Singleton, are wanted for aggravated burglary, theft over $10,000 and three counts of fraudulent use of a debit card. If you know where investigators can find them, contact the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department at (731) 968-7541.
