Man Charged with North Side Rd. Home Burglary

Thanks to neighbors paying attention to suspicious activity, a suspect is in custody after his arrest in connection with a burglary in the northern part of the Hub City. Calvin Bartlett, 32, is charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property, vandalism and resisting arrest. He will make a court appearance , Thursday in Jackson City Court. Officers responded to a burglary in progress call in the 100 block of North Side Road and found a door open. While searching the home, investigators found Bartlett into custody. Officers then found property stolen from the home in Bartlett’s car. Another suspect fled the scene.
