A Jackson man got quite a surprise Wednesday afternoon when he said he answered a knock at his front door to find a python waiting for him. By the time 7 Eyewitness News got there, officers already had the three-foot python in a bag and did not want to open it so we could see it for ourselves. Officers told 7 Eyewitness News they are now going to turn the snake over to PetSmart, who are equipped to care for the cold-blooded reptile.
