Two in Custody after Burglary Call on Cinnamon Drive

A watchful neighbor is credited with the capture of two suspected thieves Wednesday afternoon in west Jackson. It was around 12:30 p.m. that police arrested two men on Cinnamon Drive who they have identified as Brandon Powell, 19, and Christopher Allen, 18. A neighbor called 911 after he said he saw the two men removing items from a home and hiding then in nearby bushes. Both Powell and Allen face numerous charges, including aggravated burglary and theft.
