Brother and Sister Charged in Lenny’s Robbery

Jackson Police said a brother and sister are behind the weekend robbery of the Lenny’s Sub Shop on Vann Drive. Meloney Robinson, 20 and Nicolas Robinson, 22, were officially charged Monday with aggravated robbery and each of their bonds were set at $75,000. Police said around 2:45 Saturday afternoon, Meloney Robinson was armed with a knife when she robbed the restaurant. Nicholas Robinson is accused of driving the getaway car that was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Sam’s Club on Emporium Drive. The two were arrested inside another nearby restaurant.
