Brownsville Murder Suspect Turns Himself In
After almost a month on the run, a man accused of shooting his friend has turned himself in to Brownsville Police. Marcus Williams, 29, surrendered Monday morning. He faces one count of attempted first degree murder and remains jailed without bond. Late last month, Williams was accused of opening fire on his 26-year-old friend, shooting him in the chest outside of a home in the 400 block of Iola Street in Brownsville. Police told 7 Eyewitness News the victim is now recovering.
