Perry County authorities said a fire, accidentally set near Marsh Creek Road has burned more than 300 acres of land, but is now under control. As of last Monday afternoon, firefighters reported having the upper hand on the flames, with no homes or structures in immediate danger. Fire crews were fist called out around 9:30, Sunday morning. Investigators said two hunters admitted their campfire got away due to high winds, causing the fire to spread quickly.
