Robbery at Old Hickory Inn Investigated

Two motel robberies in west Jackson in just three days has police busy looking for the thieves responsible. Around 11:30, Saturday night, investigators said the Old Hickory Inn along the Highway 45 Bypass was robbed by two men. Officers said at least one of them was armed with a handgun when he jumped the counter and took money from the register. Thursday night, a similar robbery happened at the Days Inn, just a block down the Bypass. Officers have not said if the two crimes are related.
