Juvenile Charged in Weekend Burglary
A 17-year-old boy from Jackson has been arrested on charges of especially aggravated burglary aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery. Investigators said the teen hid in a closet of a woman’s home at Park Trace Apartments. When she arrived home, the 17-year-old is accused of grabbing her around the neck and demanding her money. Police said the 39-year-old victim was able to pull a knife from her pocket and stab the teen. The suspect, who police would like to try an an adult, is being held at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.
