Pedestrian Hit Along N. Highland

It is unclear if the weather was a factor in a wreck Monday evening that seriously hurt a man trying to cross North Highland near Carriage House Drive. Jackson Police told us a man was trying to cross Highland after leaving Waffle House around 7 p.m. and was hit by a car. The impact was so strong it left the man with serious head injuries and other cuts and scrapes. Police said the man, who had no identification on him, had not been identified. At this point, no charges have been filed.
