Jackson police have identified their second suspect in a late November shooting outside Jimmy D’s Sports Bar. Quinton Banks, 26, of Jackson, is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault. Police describe him as about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 175 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks. In the early morning hours of November 23, investigators believe Banks pulled a gun on a woman, after a fight spilled into the parking lot of the bar. A man with Banks, Travis Chapman, is charged with attempted first degree murder. Police believe he shot a 33-year-old man in the stomach during the argument. Chapman turned himself in, Monday. The victim is now recovering at home. If you know where Banks can be found, contact the Jackson Police Department at (731) 425-8400 or CrimeStoppers at (731) 424-TIPS.
