Speece Street House Fire

In the middle of the heavy rainfall Monday morning, firefighters were called out to fight a blaze in a duplex on Speece Cove. When officers arrived, there was a working fire at the rear of the property. The fire heavily damaged the back side of both sides of the rental property, and caused to roof to collapse. After about 15 minutes, the firefighters brought the fire under control, and upon searching, found no one inside. The investigation of the cause of the blaze continues.
