Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit
The Jackson man hit by a car while crossing North Highland last Monday, has died. Jackson Police told 7 Eyewitness News that Alex Wilkins, 35, died from his injuries suffered during the accident. Investigators say that Wilkins was walking across the southbound lanes when a driver hit him with his car. According to officers, there was limited visibility at the time due to heavy snow and rain. No charges have been filed at this time, but the incident is still under investigation.
