Selmer Police Search For Burglary Suspect

Selmer police are looking for the person who is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from two area businesses, and attempting to break into another. The attempted burglary happened allegedly last Saturday at around 11:30 p.m. Police said the person did not go inside Gary’s Pawn Shop, but they believe the individual stole $5,000 worth of property that same night from two other businesses next door – Inman Brothers Auto Sales and Griswell Lumber Company. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Selmer Police Department.
