Booker Street Stabbings
Authorities said an altercation between two men Friday night led to both men sustaining injuries. They said just after 10 p.m. Jackson Police Department responded to a stabbing call at the intersection of Booker and Lincoln Streets. Police said the two men ages 43 and 54 were arguing over what authorities called a “petty matter” and fought with two edged weapons. Authorities stated one of the men sustained a cut to his thigh while the other suffered cuts to his chest, face and ear. According to authorities both men were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said no arrest were made in the incident.
