Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
Union City officials said they will conduct sobriety checkpoints Friday, December 30. They said the program works in cooperation with the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and area law enforcement agencies. Authorities said the checkpoints will be conducted in the areas of East Reelfoot Avenue and Highland Avenue and Everett Boulevard and North Clover Street. The campaign will be conducted from 10 p.m till 4 a.m.
