Man Charged in TDOT Theft

A Tiptonville man has been arrested in Lake County after investigators said he stole a TDOT truck. Joshua Spears, 30, was arrested Wednesday in Tunica County, Mississippi and brought back to Lake County, where he faces charges of aggravated burglary, vandalism and theft over $10,000. Deputies said he not only broke into the TDOT Maintenance Headquarters on December 23, but is responsible for a home invasion on the same night.
