Hardeman Co. Woman Indicted on TennCare Fraud

A Hardeman County woman is charged for a second time with TennCare fraud. Charlotte Lee Woods, 56, has been arrested and was indicted by a Hardeman County grand jury with two counts of fraudulently using her TennCare benefits to obtain a controlled substance. Woods is accused of obtaining the painkiller hydrocodone in visits to multiple physicians in a 30-day period and then using TennCare to pay for the drugs. Wodds was once before indicted for the same charge in Shelby County last April. She could face up to two years in prison per charge.
