Woman Dies In Crash With Memphis Police Cruiser
A Memphis city police car has been involved in a traffic crash that killed a woman.
A sedan and a marked police cruiser collided Wednesday afternoon, killing 38-year-old Mervat Abdelrahman Almalhi, according to The Commercial Appeal
The police car had been dispatched to a call, but was not travelling under lights and siren.
Witnesses told investigators the car turned in front of the cruiser.
An 18-year-old passenger in the car and two police officers were injured in the crash.
