Police in Dresden said they have caught the man responsible for a deadly Sunday night shooting. Police said they have charged Nichalos Coleman, 18, with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery. His bond was not set. Lori Williams, 44, was found shot to death inside her home in Dresden late Sunday night. Police told 7 Eyewitness News Coleman confessed to the murder and even told them where he hid Williams’ purse and other items taken from her home. Coleman’s arrest was not the only one in the Williams murder case. Tuesday, there was a second arrest and even more people are in custody. David McDonald Junior, 18, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Officials told 7 Eyewitness News Coleman will soon be turned over to the Department of Corrections because jail officials said he has been threatening suicide and being disruptive. Dresden Police Chief Randal Walker and District Attorney General Tommy Thomas spoke to the media, but released only very limited information. “This first degree murder is defined as the killing occurred during the act of felony of especially aggravated robbery,” said District Attorney General Tommy Thompson. Officers said they have two others in custody, but for now are only calling them material witnesses.
