Manning Faces Drug Charges after Domsetic Dispute Call

A Jackson man who has been in trouble with the law before has been arrested again, this time for drugs. According to the sheriff, deputies arrested Woo Winiski Manning 35, in west Madison County during a domestic disturbance call. Deputies said Manning was sitting in a Cadillac Escalade with his son a the home of the child’s mother on Wells and Lassiter Road when they noticed the smell of marijuana. With the help of Metro Narcotics, officers found nine ounces of marijuana, 73 pills believed to be narcotics, digital scales, a loaded .38 caliber revolver and packaging materials. Manning is facing a number of charges including possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule two controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver. He is also facing weapons charges. Manning is free on a $10,000 bond while awaiting his preliminary hearing.
