McCarty Pleads Guilty to Molesting Boy

The Jackson man accused of raping a young boy 107 different times has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Roy McCarty, 37, has pleaded guilty to 107 counts of aggravated sexual battery. He has admitted to sexually abusing a now 11-year-old boy for more than half a year, between December 2008 and July 2010. McCarty has been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison and must register as a sex offender upon his release.
