Recycling Event Saturday in Jackson

If you have old paint cans and batteries stacked in your garage, you can get rid of them this weekend in a way that will not hurt the environment. Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., the City of Jackson has designated the Farmers Market in downtown Jackson as a collection site for oil-based paints and all types of batteries. Only items from individuals will be accepted. Commercial businesses can not make a drop off.
