KY to Hold Tech Expo for the Blind
A conference and expo for those interested in learning more about technology that can help the blind live independently is scheduled to be held in Louisville. The Kentucky Office for the Blind says in a news release the state’s first assistive technology conference and expo will be held Sept. 18-19 at the Galt House in Louisville. OFB Acting Director Allison Flanagan says the event is being used to show how advances in adaptive technology can help improve quality of life. The conference is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
