Some to cast ballots in 2 congressional races
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) – Some Kentucky voters will get to cast ballots in two congressional races this year. It’s an unusual circumstance caused by the combination of a resignation and this year’s redrawing of congressional district boundaries. The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/UOHerW) reports residents in all or parts of six counties, which are moving from the 4th Congressional District to the 6th Congressional District, will be allowed to vote in a special election for the vacant 4th District seat and the regular election for the 6th District seat. The counties that are affected include Bath, Fleming, Harrison, Nicholas, Robertson and Scott.
