Deputies Seize Thirty-One Pounds of Pot
Harrison County deputies have arrested two Gretna, La., men in a traffic stop after finding them travelling with thirty-one pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of fifty-thousand dollars, and nine-thousand dollars in cash. Sheriff Melvin Brisolara says the hydroponic marijuana was wrapped in one-pound bags. Brisolara says 28-year-old Derrick Wayne Le was following too closely to another vehicle Friday on Interstate ten when a deputy stopped him in Biloxi. Le and his passenger, 26-year-old Trung Duc Thanh were arrested on a charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. They were booked at the Harrison County jail on one-hundred thousand dollar bonds. Le and Huynh have been released on bond.
