Washington-Douglas Headstart to Re-open Friday

JACKSON, Tenn.- An east Jackson school that serves local children will re-open Friday after being closed for a day. Washington-Douglas Headstart was closed because of the warm temperatures from the last couple of days with temperatures climbed into the upper 70s and mid-80s. The warmup caused the school to be above the allowed temperature to have kids in class. But with the temperatures cooling down, students will be back in school.
