JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police have charged a 12-year-old boy.after officers say the pre-teen admitted to firing a stolen handgun several times Monday night in his east Jackson neighborhood. Terry Jones, 20, has also been charged in the incident. Officers said they found him with a 40-caliber handgun that was reported stolen earlier this month. The 12-year-old told police he had fired the gun and now faces charges of reckless endangerment, theft and a weapons count.
